It's said that experiences shape us. Whether they are good, bad, exciting, hilarious, intense, no matter the type, experiences transform who we are.
I remember a personal journey three years ago to the hidden Inca city of Machupichu in Peru. Getting to the city was a total challenge. From Cusco, it took hours ridding a van, then hours on a bus, then waiting for the night train to reach the city of Aguascalientes, where the climbing would start. While climbing, it rainned so hard that our clohtes got sooo heavy that it was so hard to give a step up. The two hours hiking turned into four. Finally, we reached the top, got into the Inca city, all covered with clouds and suddenly, there it was! Beautiful! Hidden! On the top! This experience made me understand the concept of 'perseverance', not to give up, not to surrender .... Get what you want!
On october 20th, 2007 I went to “Prismas Baslticos” with my boyfriend and Norma and his boyfriend. We had a wonderful time!
ReplyDeleteThis place is in Hidalgo. Firth you arrive to Huasca de Ocampo it´s a quiet and beautiful town. You can to eat tipical food, visit the church and walk on the street.We stayed it one day.
In the morning we went to visit los prismas basalticos. It was rainning and it was freezing.
When we arrived it we visited los prismas; it´s a geometrics columns, the rocks have five face. We saw the waterfall and we took photograph of this place.
We swam in the pool for 1 hour, after we played football and my friend and me were the winners. We were hungry then we went to restaurant. I ate tlacoyos and drank melon water. The food is fantastic.
In the afternoon we visited San Miguel Regla it´s an old house, you can ride a horse or motorcycle for arrive it, but is the most interesting wolked for arrive because you can see landscape.
For last time we went to fish but we didn´t fish nothing. Then we decided to return and rest. The day was wonderful. This has been a pleasant experience for me.
MY FIRST TRAVEL TO THE BEACH
ReplyDeleteI was ten years old, I think, my mother was born in Veracruz, she moved to Mexico City when she was 18 and she come back every year. In that time I remember we took a cup off coffee in a small cafeteria, but the coffee was delicious the biskets too, is the best coffee have I ever taken, we visited to my uncle his name was Nemorio today the people call him Eugenio, I do not why. Before we traveled to Riachuelos is a little town, near to Tecolutla, nowadays that zone is call Zona Esmeralda, when me and my brothers were in the bus we saw the sea, oh was wonderful, the blue water, the white sand. We got off the bus and we ran to the beach, if I close my eyes I can see that moment. Next day my father, my brother one cousin and me, went to Tecolutla, we walked for hours in the way we saw toros cebues, I was scared, finally we arrived to Tecolutla, It was an unforgettable vacation.

ReplyDeleteI have been in Merida any times my first time I knew many places. I went with my family 3 years ago, with my sister my dad and my mom, it was wonderful! First we went to a place where a black Christ was, I don’t remember the name because the names are strange is for the Maya’s names. That day is very difficult because the place was very far of the downtown, more o less 3 hours, and the weather is very hot. Next day we went to Chichen Itza is a beautiful place is big ruins archaeology and is a world´s wonder. Other day we went to visit a “Cenote”, Merida has very much cenotes. The cenotes are very deep, and if you don’t swim as me, you are going to stay in the edge. We were in the cenote Dzinup is the most know and is very beautiful also we went to grottos, a beautiful grotto is Loltun her deed is I believe, (I don´t sure)30 meter on the level sun. I enjoy very much Yucatan Merida is the capital, it has very places to visit the downtown also is wonderful, Yucatan has beautiful beaches and the people is nice and friendly.
I think I have little experience, one is when playing "Delta wing" that is incredible is a cart with wings and flies it is surprising that when in the sky off the bike and only plan. I felt a peace, you feel free, you feel an adrenaline rush, with a little fear, but seeing everything from the air is amazing.
ReplyDeleteAnother rare experience that I once saw a UFO I know nobody believes me but I saw .I twelve years old I was with my friends on the street my friend Lalo suddenly sees a beautiful red light in the sky, but the light began to move. We all ran to see where the light was, but an incredible speed disappeared. I never explain that it was! But I say it was a UFO!! Wwiiiuuuwiiiuuu (º.º)!!

Hello, I want to talk about a very special moment in my life, I went with my family to Canada 4 years ago, I was very surprised because I had never been in another country before. We went to the airport and traveled to Canada so I was very excited because it was also my first experience by plain.
ReplyDeleteWhen we arrived to Canada we were disappointed because our bus looked like an old “Güilero”.
But our adventure started here because we walked around the streets of Quebec, and everything looks very different, even the houses looked like European Castles.
People were very kind, and if you had any trouble they tried to understand you. Let me tell you an experience when I spoke with an old lady. We were talking in a middle of a show with lights and she was trying to explain me step by step its meaning, also she told me that she and her family used to go to see it every weekend.
Another day we went to Ottawa and we liked it very much because at night my family and I go out and walked in the city until we found a nice place to eat. As soon as we got into the restaurant it started to rain. We ate the best pizza ever and we enjoyed talking of many issues without thinking in problems or the bad time. When we finally decided to leave it stopped raining. It was “amazing”.

ReplyDeleteThe first great experience in my life happened when I was a kid about six or seven years old; I was with my family on vacation at the beach and I remember that my father was playing with us over the sand and the sea was amazing with that blue color, and the white waves splashing on the rocks. And I remember my father graving my hand and when the waves were coming over we ran and the waves were hitting me down, but I wasn’t afraid because my father was graving my hand, and that was so funny. Until to day I really like going with my family on vacations to the beach, because I really like the sea and the sun, I really enjoy it.
Other great experiences in my life, happened when I was a kid; I remember that every year I was waiting for Christmas because that day all my family was together and I was just waiting for my cousins and my uncles because everything was fun when they were there. And I like so much Christmas time because I really enjoy the food that my mother cooks for that special day. So I really like Christmas and new years eve.

An amazing adventure? Mmm… I’m thinking about my last vacation, or maybe when I was playing in a rock band ten years ago or, how do you say “cuando te ponen una corretiza por hecharte unos tacos corridos jaja” but, I think it have to be something really amazing. Have you ever seen to the sky, around you? Many years ago, when I was a child I wonder how was possible the life, the things we see every day, then started my most amazing adventure the knowledge. Sometimes I feel like a freak, because I like that, the stars, the universe, I like the history about this kind of things, I really enjoy it. That’s why I like biology, because I can learn about a lot of topics. I can’t travel around the world, the moon or the universe, but I can read a book, use a telescope or just dream.
ReplyDeleteA week ago I went to Toluca for a meeting with some lawyers; it was a “near travel business” and I went there with my boyfriend, because I don’t like the road to Toluca and I didn’t want to drive the car.
ReplyDeleteThe meeting finished early and we leave Toluca. I didn’t want to come back to the office so we decided to go to El desierto de los Leones. We were there a lot of times with another people but never together.
I always have a pair of jeans with me on the car, so I changed my pants and we went to know together the monastery and then we also take a lunch there. It was very funny.

My experience with great value was when I traveled to New York two years ago. I decided to go to EU because I wanted to practice speak English and to know this culture. I lived in Texas with my cousins. There we organized to travel to NY for 4 days. NY is a cosmopolitan city with a lot of new buildings, peoples of different countries and several stores. You can go for shopping, dinning and entertainment are abundantly available 24 hrs a day. In the first day we visited the Broadway avenue, there were large spectaculars and we find a Dallas's man vaquero, he wore a Trousers and hat only, he looked very sexy . The women were taking pictures with him. Then we visited mtv channel for participated a musical program. Upss I don't remember the program, name. Second day we went to the statue of liberty, we traveled by subway, there we saw to dance a black people like a movies. It was so funny. For to arrived at statue liberty we made a little travel in ship, It was so good because from there we could see all Manhattan. In the third day we visited central station. it's a popular location for dinning and shopping, then we went at Rockefeller center. It is a commercial building, finally in the night we visited the Empire state building from there we can saw the Manhattan bridge and the greatest concentrations of skyscrapers. In the last day we went at Yankee's stadiums to saw play them.

ReplyDeleteThe one experience in my life was working in Hir insurance company. It was my first work. My life was different when I began to work. In this company I meet interesting person and I learn to do different things to I did all days. I learn to live together with others persons and I learn to work in team and I practice my degree in Actuary. When I began in this work, I don like it, but the time that I was here I appreciated the people and my work was more interesting than beginning.
Other experience was I studied Actuary, because in high school I was bad in mathematics, this degree was very difficult for me, but four years later I finished, it was great challenge that I obtain. I am very happy, I like my degree and I like to be working now. Whit this experiences I learn to grow both personally and professionally. Now work in other company and I am meting my new workmates, this is my new experience but I don’t have to say yet.
During my infancy I went training football soccer in School of Club America , in my youth, I training football rapido too. My coach in the team the football rapido went training the Toros Neza soccer Football team, then he told us a few player that we wanted play in Toros Neza team, we tested for football and they accepted us.
ReplyDeleteI entered the basic forces of the football team Toros Neza, there I went one year half, after I could enter the team Toros Celaya, when Emilio Butrageño played there, This team were of the first division in the Mexican football league, I went the first team, they paid me, those was the most exiting, I was 17 years old, but something happened, after the three months I had an injury in my right knee, during my recovering, I thought that my injury could limited my progress in the Celaya team, I decide with my family go out and studied.
But I know one thing. I love soccer Football.
Today, I think that was the best decision,
Two weeks ago I went to vacation. I went to Oaxaca com my mother. I wanted know Oaxaca because I think that its traditions and culture are very interesting.
ReplyDeleteThe city of Oaxaca is internationally famous for its colonial buildings and its beautiful churches por example the Santo Domingo Church, the church this adorned of a lot of gold. we visit the center of the city and we admire its beauty. But I enough enjoyment was the visit to Mitla and Mount Alban because I love the pre-hispanic history and I wanted to visited these two cities, the experience was marvelous the think that various hundreds of years ago our ancestors were in the same place is incredible. In Mitla I had opportunity to enter to one of the tombs and that was marvelous.
We stayed a week in Oaxaca and we could know the art of some nearby towns, his natural beauty for example we visit the tree of the tule and the waterfalls petrified “Hierve el Agua” and I could practice a little my English with some tourists but were very few words. We had time to relax us in the temazcal before returning to our life in the not beautiful Mexico city. Thats were some excellent vacation.

ReplyDeleteWhen I began the university I got my first job in an office, I worked for international maritime organization and one of the principal activities was to check the international convention on maritime transport. So I had to travel to different seaports for to review that the ships to arrived were able to navigate.
The first time when I was in front the ship I didn´t know where to begin to review, because the ship was very big, and I didn´t know the parts of the ship I was lucky to go with a partner. He already had experience in that job and helped me to do my job reporting.
It was a great experience because I knew the sea, beaches and nice places.
I knew as different goods arrive from all the world to our country and the procedure for to import and export.
I also knew as the Ships are repaired and are built. Now I love de the sea and the ships.

ReplyDelete•The greatest experience of my life was concluding my career of Actuary at College, because at the beginning I didn’t understand much about some subjects, and when the first semester ended I didn’t want to continue attending school because I felt like I would never understand subjects that complicated, but I didn’t give up thanks to the support of teachers, friends and my father.
•Later, I was able to understand the difficulty of some subjects at College, besides I met some good friends. We make groups of study to support each other in order to make a subject easier with the explanations of the one who get it more easily. That helped me a lot to get good grades.
•Last year was fabulous because the subjects were all about the labor market, which made them more interesting and less complicated; the last two semesters meant a real improvement in learning because I had very good teachers.
•I also got my social service finished, which made me be more prepared for the day I would have to work.

ReplyDeleteA very important experience for me was a presentation at an elementary school by the university. My classmates and I prepare for a month ago to this exhibition, the theme was Influenza, which was the most popular disease last year.
Students divide us in groups of three people, we made posters with pictures for children to understand us.
At primary school, the principal named into the microphone for all children, they formed lines in the schoolyard and began to enter his room. After each of us entered a room and introduced ourselves with children, the children were properly informed and they asked us many questions, fortunately we also paid attention and understood the whole explanation.
Finally gifted them balls and candies, and we could that we signed them balls, as if we were some famous people, hahaha. That experience was truly enjoyable and enriching for my bachelor.

Mmm really I don’t know if this is an adventure but for me is in that form and it’s funny. One time when I was fifteen and my brother Victor was eleven we went to the Azteca stadium to see the soccer game Toluca vs America. The middle of my family are eagles and the other are red that was very crazy because we didn’t know where go to sit so our parents an uncles decide go to the eagles part that was horrible at first, but then they said us that we had to pay the tacos and something like that a lot of jokes and made us pass a wood time.
ReplyDeleteOnly my father and my grandfather and a few my brother was angry because the Toluca team lost this time all of them said: “It can’t be possible we lost with the tweetys” jajaja. The best of this is that we made friends of the team that we heat in some moments that made me remember that all persons have differences but is not excuse to be violent with their.
The most important EXPERIENCE in my life
ReplyDeleteOne of the most important experiences in my life is working in an insurance company.
When I studied I didn´t like my insurance class because I was always thinking "this class is really boring". I prefered taking finance or maths classes, because the insurance classes only had topics about theory and I couldn´t see what was the importance of the insurance in life.
At the office I have met people different. I have known a lot of behaviors and I think I have to take the best experiences and knowledge’s each one because everybody is very intelligent and really enthusiastic. I hope I will get a better job in some years. It will be possible If I work hard in my present and I learn as much as I can.
The first day in the office, I can remember I ate with my new boss, I thought she was nice and now I can to say this because she has teacher me a lot. When I started to work in the company I didn´t know to program and of course nothing about the terminology insurance but I have worked very hard and I have learned this in little time. I have taken many courses and I don´t want to be one more person in the company because I want to be the best.
I have tried to be better everyday and deliver all my reports on time and correctly and I´m going to continue doing because I like my job.

One of the most important experiences in the job was the first interview and everyone of then has something different. The experience could be good but could be the worst it depend our knowledge and the nervous that we have, this last is the worst enemy that we have. Around my life I´ve had different kind of interviews and I can´t tell you some tips to have a successful interview.
First you should know where you are, where you go, what you want when you know these answers is easier decide what kind of job is the best for you.
Then you need write your skills, your better and worst things of you, your values and things that you like to do.
Finally if you answer this test you will have a good perspective of you, and you can have more security of who you are.
Today I have a new experience with the language, I had an interview and the owner made me a question in english and I could answer it and it makes me feel good, that´s the reason to continue studying english.

ReplyDeleteAn unforgettable experience was when I went to Michoacán with my whole family. They were my uncles, cousins and family friends.
We were in Michoacán a weekend but it was very funny, I was laughing jeje while we all went to visit some tourist places in that city, for example, Lake Patzcuaro is impressive and enormous, which is part of more recreational and cultural places of Michoacán.
Another site I like is the waterfall of La Tzararacua, looks beautiful and has a very relaxing sound, were very close to that, is huge and has a fall is about 60 meters, splashing water was refreshing and felt cold, around the waterfall there are wonderful vegetation, you can walk or rent a horse there, and also went to the zoo, I had fun at the zoo, is very nice and sell delicious food, I loved it!
This was one of the most beautiful experiences for me, and you can appreciate the natural beauty found in our Mexico.
One of the most exciting experiences for me was “The International Cervantino Festival”, I was 20 years old and I was studding the 3rd year in the university.
ReplyDeleteI haven´t been in Guanajuato still that year, and now I can say that these city is magic.
The trip was on bus and left to the school, one bus for only UNAM students, I went with my friends and we left to 1:00 p.m. The atmosphere in the bus was very funny and although in that occasion was a lot of traffic, wasn’t a difficult trip. We arrive at Guanajuato as to 10:00 p.m. There I met whit my boyfriend and his friends.
Guanajuato is a magical town because its houses and streets even are decorated like in the colonial age, are many churches and cathedrals, and many legends about its people and streets. You cannot go to Guanajuato and stop visiting the momias, the Alhóndiga of Granaditas and the statue of Pipila.
In the nights of the festival people leave to walk by the alleys where there are many actors doing their shows or singers, without forgetting the traditional “callejoneadas” with the “estudiantinas”.
The “estuidnatinas” are a group of musicians whit guitars and they sing romantics songs of Mexican classical authors.
Definitively Guanajuato it is my favorite place in the world.

ReplyDeleteIt happened seven years ago, on june 2003, when I was studing high school in Chiapas, in San Cristóbal de Las Casas, Chiapas. That date was saturday, that date began summer vacations, so I was traveling to parent´s house (my parents live in Chiapas, but they don´t live in San Cristóbal de las Casas Chiapas).
I was traveling in a foreing transport (a Van model). When we were at half of way, the Van crash on a wall, but I didn´t realized it until that I got up (I was frainting) in a taxi with the other passengers. My white shirt was splashing of blood (my blood) and was having very much headache, so I realized that was injuring in my chin.
The taxi driver took us at Bochil's hospital (where my mother work). There, my mother
realized that was injuring in my right knee, too.
At the moment, I have heal in my chin and my knee.

The most amazing experience that I had was when I went to Los Cabos because the whales came to Mexico every year in that dates. I never saw one only at TV program or something. We travel at boat in the sea, for 30 minutes approximately when the guide said us “The whale is there, see it” I didn’t see the whale in that moment, only I saw the end of the boat and I said “ohh yes I see but the boat I don’t see any animal Where is the whale? Tell me” jajajaja, it was very funny, but when I saw the whale I was petrified it’s beautiful, and super big jijiji,, I thought in that moment “if the whale hit the bout, I can arrive to Sinaloa probably” fortunately She didn’t see me and she didn’t like to hit me, also the dolphins travel with us but they didn’t let me touch it they are beautiful I loved that trip and I’ll never forget.

Everything was right but when Iwas thirteen years old in this part in my life I was rebellious for all always it is the most difficult stage of our lives. Nobody understands to us, nobody thought of us It was dumber now that I think.
when you are young you want to grow fast to be able to do anything but later when we grow. We want to be young again.
I know by experience but of this tere are good things for example if you commint an error, you can correct it and you learn the lesson. All the life is a game and there are two possibilities win or to lose but everyone do to want with the life. I think that if we always tried to win all we can make great things so everything in this life is possible

ReplyDeleteWhen I was ten years old, I was live in Guerrero Negro, Baja California Sur, this town was a deserted zone, small and beautiful. Guerrero Ngro is next to the Pacific Ocean.
There, the whales arrived each year for their reproduced.
In this town the water underground was crystalline, because there had a lot of mines of salt, so the vegetation was a little. The panoramic was fantastic.
People were very friendly.
One day at seven o´clock, while my mother and I were walking, we looked a shine light over us, was an object that didn´t move, we couldn’t say anything, after that the object started to move very fast and crossed the sky until disappear.
Was a dark, starry, and could night, and was a terrible moment. The next day in the radio news reported: “Yesterday in the world people saw seven sparkling objects in the sky”
Everybody thought that was an extraterrestrial object.
I believed in the outer space life, and I think that I looked was true.
The universe is very big… so we don´t be singles.
My best adventure was when I went with my uncles and cousins to Veracruz because first we didn't have a car to go. Then we obteined money working. We went to Veracruz by bus. There we encamp in Casitas a little place to camp there. We stayed there 1 week. However we was very good in the sea and in the swimming pool. Also we went to the waterfalls it was wonderful After this week we come back to Df but this adventure was unforgettable.
ReplyDeleteAn amazing experience could be when I traveled to Ney York, Canada, Toronto, Ontario, Quebec, Washington, and an other places in the same trip, I like this trip a lot because I travel with my family, my aunt, my cousins, my other aunt and my uncle. We went for tree or four weeks and it’s the best experience that I never had.
ReplyDeleteI remember exactly when I was in Toronto and we were visiting the Toronto tower, is very, very tall, actually it’s the tallest tower in the world. Its very nice and we were rise to the tower it’s terrible for me because I am afraid to the heights an this tower is vey height and in the top it has a glass floor and you can walk in this floor and I try it, but almost I die, that’s the worst experience in the trip haha.
When I was in Canada I went for the Niagara Falls, oh that incredible, the falls are very big, I raised in a boat and go to a tour in to the falls and it was the one of the best, best experiences that I had.
And finally ohhh New York is the most wonderful, entertainment, fantastic and crazy place in all the trip, the theaters, the places, the restaurants, and only the street in the night, Ney York is a night party hahaha.
"Perseverance" What a concept! I believe my english is really good nowadays. Im proud to say that I was my own teacher at the very begining. TV, music and movies were my best partners at da process.
ReplyDeleteMy english was gettin better everyday and i realized i really like it. I have to give the proper credits to The Beatles and Harry Potter.
The point is, one day I was asked to go buying a camera with my dad. When he was talking about it with da seller I saw da -just released- last Harry Potter book (Im a Potter fan). It was there. So new. So ready to be read. So untouched. So...in english!! I hesitated about getting my copy but I took it home with me. I confess at first my only objective was added da book to my collection, but when a few days passed I had an idea. Why not readin it? So... I started. What do I have to say about it? DIFICULT, DIFFICULT, DIFFICULT, DICTIONARY, DICTIONARY, DICTIONARY. I get instantaneously desperado but i talked to my mom. She told me something about perseverance. About challenging yourself. Break your own walls. Next think I know is I was closing the book on the last page.
I ate it! Faster than any other book in spanish i had ever read.
In short: Give it another and another try whenever u feel like u just cant do something u really would like to do!

ReplyDeleteI didn´t undertand exactly what we have to do, but I was reading your blog, and I would like to share you, when I went to Toronto, Canada, ten years ago, it was an amazing experience, I went to study and Travel too, but sometimos it was unhappy, because you are alone without your family and specially on Christmas day.
I could visit the CN tower, The Niagara Falls, both are beautiful, althought it´s a very cold country, well, I went in December and January, and I think I won´t go again in that time.
